Great Resources for Teachers
ONLINE PD FOR Flipgrid
If you have ever video chatted, used facebook live, or done TikTok you can use Flipgrid! This is a free website that can be used as a form of home-school communication between teachers and students, especially while out for a long period of time. It gives teachers a way to visually connect with students in a structured environment. You can post a specific topic/question or leave it open for students to come up with the ideas. In this course you will learn how to use it and see examples of how it is being used over this extended absence.

Online PD for Remind.com
I was inspired to start utilizing Remind.com when my own child was in preschool and her teacher used it as a form of home-school connection, sending us pictures. I loved having some insight into what my child was learn/doing on a daily basis, opening up our evening discussion beyond "How was school today... good." I now use it as not only a form of home-school connection, but as a true communication tool with parents that is both convenient and informative, especially in todays digital society. If you can text, you can use remind.com!
